Dear Mr.Mike Johnson,
I am a college English teacher in China. I love traveling and a friend of mine recommended your website. It's a most fantastic website I've ever seen! The live pictures of the oceanic Riga is charming, and your interactive BBS is quite impressive .
Now in China we have European countries tours, but as far as I know, Latvia is not in the EU tour route yet. China has a booming tourism market, but still developing.Among my colleagues and friends, nobody has been to Latvia. So I am curious, do you have Chinese tourists ?
Actually another reason of this , in my opinion, is a lack of publicity. In China, it's popular to travel to HK, Macao, Southeast Asia. The price is not about 5000RMB-7000RMB per person; even for EU tours, just 10000RMB for 8-day-tour per person; those who can easily afford the tour mostly are in their 40s or above, but many of them don't know much English. So I guess if your website has a Chinese version, with your beautiful pics and rich content, you will develop this potential market.
Above are my person comments, not professional. But I do enjoy visiting your country online. I am also the youngest Executive Member of Liaoning Translators' Association, so if in the future there's anything I can do , we can further discuss, would you?
Sincerely,
Cocoa Zhao
